Cover Design
I’ve been working to gather together some interesting pictures and start creating some pre-made cover designs. I’m really excited for this new venture!
I’m also designing the covers for my current series in progress, a set of 5 paranormal romances. Paranormal stories are so interesting to design covers for. Because the worlds the authors build are free from our earthly boundaries, anything can show up in a story. Mythical people and creatures. Fantastical castles. And in the science fiction romance realms, aliens, far off worlds, and space ships!
I’m really enjoying looking for lush grasslands, castles, dragons, city scapes, hot, hot men, and breathtakingly beautiful women. I think that’s one of the things I love best about cover design – bringing the story to life. Fulfilling that promise to the reader that this – what you see on the cover – is what you’re going to experience and enjoy reading this story.
I’m off to hunt pictures and start putting them together. Be looking for my new pre-made cover designs starting in September!

Site Revamp!
I’ve just finished updating my website. Whew! It’s amazing how many buttons you gotta click to get everything organized and flowing nicely.
I’ve added all new pricing and some new services as well. I’m really excited to start offering website and social media services, along with creating more types of artwork, including book covers. Speaking of bookcovers, I’ve started creating some pre-made book covers. I plan to have the first of them up and available for viewing soon. Check back in a week or so and check them out!
Here’s some business cards I just made for budding author Tina Newcomb! We both think they turned out really nice.
And here’s a bookmark that introduces Tina’s first two books, Finding Eden and Beyond Eden, coming in August and September.
OK – I’m off now to play with Photoshop and get some new pre-made book covers created!
Ciao! “: )

Where Do You Get Your Design Ideas?
This is a question I often hear from customers – where do you get your design ideas?
The simple answer is…everywhere!
From a magazine article, or the curve of a flower petal, or the shape of a cloud, or a stranger’s exotic sundress…purchased from some tropical island gift shop!
